 The Third Pillar of NLP - Behavioral Flexibility

Consider carefully the first 2 pillars of NLP. They are many seem simple at first and you may have heard them til they have desensitized you. But they are crucial as the create a feed back loop. This is to say, when you know your outcomes then use your sensory acuity to observe what is happening, the feed back you get allows you to make adjustments in your behaviour if that is required. If the actions you are taking are not leading you in the direction you want to go its obvious you should try something different. But many people lack behavioral flexibility and continue to do the same thing.

If your outcomes is to lose weight and you continue to eat inappropriate foods not exercise and make the lifestyle changes that are required, maybe you need to look at your behavior and take appropriate action. Making a goal to get an outcome, will not give it to you.

This might seem simplistic in its approach but I urge you dear reader, if you have taken pen to paper after my question to you in Pillar One, where are you now? What behavioral changes do you need to make to keep you on track?
