Training F.A.QWhy would I learn NLP?

There are many different change modalities on the planet today. None by far, create the massive shift so rapidly as does NLP. It's been said, that 2 years of councelling can be compressed into approximately 8 hours of NLP coaching to obtain the results you are looking for. So the question is not why would you learn NLP now is why would you not learn NLP?  Don't you want fast rapid change to get on with your life to the fullest? I bet you do!

NLP is also all about how YOUR mind is put together, how you think, how you create, how you understand and utilise information around you! By learning NLP you will there fore understand YOURSELF and others - its like experiencing a massive aha moment! Could you do with understanding yourself and others better?


Why should I train with you?

At Empowered Mind, we fully believe and agree with the presupposition that everyone has all the resources inside you need to succeed - at anything!  And deep down inside - you know its true too! I bet you can feel it even if you can't always access it right? We  respectfully don't buy into your limitations - instead we support your change at your root cause to firstly experience NLP first hand and the changes it brings. And to then learn thoroughly how to apply your new learnings into your life and the world around you. We believe that we teach with integrity honouring each person in a holistic way as a unique individual because you are! 
We offer support during and after your training with questions you may have in your practice. We also continually research and add new and innovative techniques and theories to the field of NLP and bring them to the class room.


Why would I do a Live Training as opposed to one online?

On line trainings are definitely a way of the future and currently has a place in education today. We at Empowered Mind may well move into training online in the future, where the need to deliver short theory only courses exist. We conduct Live Trainings as NLP coaching requires precise application of your practical tuition that cannot be given outside the classroom.

As you can imagine, the learning dynamics are very different and in Live trainings you have direct access to your NLP Trainers and can discuss and practice your tools with other students. Every member of the training brings unique model of the world (which is something you will learn a lot about) and gifts to the group and allows us to experience others realities and empowers us to also learn and experience working with others. We believe that Live Trainings are THE place to consolidate the practical skills along side theoretical knowledge.

What Support is available to me after I graduate?

Commencing in 2010, an innovative and exciting new program will be introduced where as a Graduate you will be able to participate in monthly online meetings with Annie, your NLP Trainer. Details of this program and its method of delivery are now available. You also have access to speaking to a trainer and or email support during business hours. Remember this, we view your success as our success and together we are building a relationship. We ARE there for you!

How can I use NLP?

This is such a broad question! Some of the applications of NLP are Business, sales, therapy, nursing, medical practice, coaching, stress management to name a few. How about putting into ACTION the learnings you will gain for your own life!

What will I learn in the training?

Empowered Mind delivers Training in 3 modalities. NLP, Time Line Therapy® and Hypnotherapy, at both Practitioner and Master Practitioner Level. These learning modules are in accordance with the international standards of the ABNLP, which has many members world wide.

Do I get to practice what I am learning at the Training?

Absolutely YES! We believe that practicing your learning consolidates your theory and you will "get it" when you do it! All of our trainings have a balance with theory modules and practical experience. You will be supervised by experienced practicing qualified NLP Trainers, who are handpicked for their knowledge and skill. You will have access at all times to the Trainers to ensure your best practice.

Is there a theory test?

Yes! But we call it an assignment, because it allows you, the student, to explore the ideas of NLP and write creative answers. We frame our trainings around how adults learn and so this is an "open book" type of assignment that you fill in as you go along and also with outside the classroom work. Whilst it's an important and essential part of your training, the purpose is to assist you to consolidate your training and to show up what we call "knowledge gaps" in the students learning so we may assist in fulfilling those gaps for Graduation.

How does this training compare with world standards in NLP?

Our NLP  Trainings are recognised Internationally by the American Board of NLP, Time Line Therapy Association and the American Board of Hypnotherapy. These are amongst the oldest boards in the world and has many members world wide. Our Coaching standards comply with major coaching federations around the world. Our trainings compare with the major coaching boards in the world. We have a strong ethical foundation and operate from this frame in all we do.

Will I be Certified?

Yes. You will gain Certification from Empowered Mind and if you wish to become a financial member of the above Boards, they impose a small registration fee that is born by the Graduate and is not set nor imposed by us.




Investment FAQ I've seen Free NLP Trainings, are they the same as what you are offering?

Our NLP Coach Trainings are designed to give you the level of education to practice as a Certified Coach at an international standard, to work with Clients as a change agent in the world. If you have decided to train for personal reasons you will experience a major change in your life and will understand how your brain works and others around you.

Does my NLP Training have a money back guarantee?

Yes absolutely! In fact, its 100% guaranteed! We are so confident that your training will and does deliver what you are looking for that at the end of the training if you haven't gained what you came for - we will refund your entire training. The only money that will not be returned to you is for any product that is included in the training. This will be deducted. The only thing we ask from you, is that you be honest in your communication as your training progresses. If you have difficulties, then please allow us to assist you.

To be truthful, its more about you than us. YOU have the responisibility for your own learning, we deliver a comprehensive training program. During the training you will experience changes and you know, changes can be uncomfortable. NO ONE  has requested a refund! Do you have a payment plan?

One of the wonderful things you will gain out of your training is your own personal development which will be accelerated from your training. We consider that your training starts the day you commit to your training. Our policy is that payment can be made in installments if required paymet must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the commencement of your training. If you undergo genuine hardship, arrangements can be made. After all, we want YOU to succeed!

Time FAQHow much time does learning this training take?

Your face to face tuition is approximately 60 hours and your external study should be approximately 70 hours. Set time for training per day is the first 2 days are long days, 10 am to 8 pm. Then the rest of the training your days commence at 1pm and conclude at 8 pm. Time is available during the mornings for student support if required.

Ensure you allow your training week to be free of external commitments and make arrangements for your responsibilities to be supported. This IS and intense training! Make the time for you to have minimal interferance during this special time.


Other FAQWhy don't you send out glossy brochures?

We don't believe glossy brochures make any difference to your decision making process and are there for "show". Pretty pictures and shiny paper does feel wonderful to get but how many times have you received something like that only to discard it? So, what is the bottom line for you in your decision making process to register for a training? What do you need to have happen?
